The exciting thing about owning a Keurig Brewer is the huge choice of k cup coffees. It’s just not coffee these days. You can also find hot chocolate and tea k cups too!
Personally, I like to have a good variety of coffee on hand for myself, my family and to offer guests. Our Top 10 K Cup list is well rounded with a variety of coffee flavors, tea and hot chocolate to make most people happy.
If you’re new to k cups, we hope that our list helps you find your first k cup to enjoy! If you have been a Keurig user for a while and tried many brands already, maybe our list will help you branch out to something that you haven’t tried yet.
Before we get into the Top 10 K Cups…
If you are new to Keurig and the k cup concept and not sure what flavors of coffee you might enjoy, one of the easiest ways to sample the different coffees is to choose the “Sample” when checking out. This gives you a few k cups to try (for just few bucks!), before you purchase the larger quantity. With k cups, purchasing a 1lb bag of coffee and “hoping” you’ll like it is the thing of the past.
#1 Regular Extra Bold Coffee
When I took my first sip, I thought wow, this is amazing. Hence, why it is number 1 on our top 10 list. This Regular Extra Bold Coffee uses quality Arabica beans that provide a bold flavor. Not to bold or bitter. Not weak or under flavored. It is smooth and very flavorful. It is the perfect crowd pleasing blend for any time of day or night.
Green Mountain’s Breakfast Blend is a nice light coffee great for mornings you don’t want to be jolted awake by a stronger blend. This is a classic cup of New England morning. Vibrant yet controlled with a sweet full body. It’s an all around great choice for someone who wants a consistent cup of coffee with every k-cup.
Hawaiian Blend is one of the smoothest coffees I’ve brewed at home. The flavors are balanced and the actual Hawaiian coffees (10% Hawaiian coffee – it’s a blend of other Arabica beans) are easy to taste. Maybe it’s the subtle sweetness like the Hawaiian trade winds themselves, but sipping this Hawaiian Blend is perfection.
Coming in at number 4 on our list is Eight O’Clock Original Coffee. This medium roast premium blend is 100% Arabica coffee that is full-bodied, yet very smooth. It isn’t acidity and overall, a mellow coffee with great taste.
Number 5 isn’t a coffee at all. Indulge in a cinnamony, spicy, yet sweet mixture with this not so ordinary tea. It may be a little heavy on the sugar and/or cardamon for some, but as a mid-morning, mid-afternoon & evening drink, it is a nice, pleasant drink.
Green Mountain Coffee Half-Caff Coffee is the best of both coffee worlds. If you need a pick-me-up, but can’t afford a sleepless night, this half-caff blend is for you. The taste is smooth, not bitter and not too strong and goes well with any creamer.
#7 Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa
For those of you that enjoy hot chocolate, number 7 is for you. You’ll feel simply cozy while sipping this Swiss Miss Milk Chocolate cocoa, and the lingering milk chocolate will warm you long after you’re done.
Wild Mountain Blueberry Coffee is an unexpected delight. It’s juicy, sweet, slightly buttery and number 8 on our top 10 list. You can taste juicy wild berries with an after thought of sweet caramel. With no added sugars or sweeteners, and calorie free this truly is a guilt-free indulgence.
The Irish Cream Coffee is super smooth and creamy with the taste of Irish Cream liquor. This coffee is marvelous–tastes like there’s a shot of liquor in there but there isn’t . Great flavorful beverage for the afternoon or evening hours.
This tasty coffee finished up our top 10 list. The Nantucket Blend Fair Trade Select Coffee is Green Mountain Coffees most complex blend. This delicious blend consists of four different coffees from three different continents. This is a not-to-strong coffee blend that is good anytime of the day.
